Sarah Hassan is a well-known African actor and television personality. She began acting at the age of five and rose to prominence as Tanya in the long-running high school drama Tahidi High, a debut role that earned her a CHAT Award for Best Actress in 2010 and 2011. 

Since then, she has appeared in numerous series and films, as well as hosted numerous TV shows, earning her numerous awards such as Best Actress 2014 (Now That You're Here), Best TV Host at the Kalasha Awards 2014 (Discovery+ 254), Best East African Journalist 2015 at the Swahili Fashion Week in Dar es Salaam (Mashariki Mix and Maisha Max), Best Actress at the Kalasha Awards 2019 (Plan B), Best Film at the AMVCA Awards (Crime And Justice -The first ever Showmax Original Series in Kenya). 

Sarah on her role as Nina 

Sara plays Nina, a lovely young lady with a simple sense of style. Her smile brightens her face, and she is very kind, sincere, positive, and gracious. She enjoys making others happy, and she will do anything to make her family happy. When she is not caring for her family, she tutors children in her neighborhood, carries the bags of elderly women, and runs for help for everyone. 

Nina is Dylan Kambarage's daughter, but she is unaware of this. Her adopted parents, Frida and Bosco, are a family hired by her grandfather Balozi to look after her and kept it a secret. 

Nina, despite being disliked by Frida, is adored by all because of her kindness. Unfortunately, her older stepsister Lola frequently takes advantage of her. Only Bosco shows her love especially when he’s away from Frida's influence.
