While having wealth in a family can be beneficial, it can also strain relationships that bring out the worst in people.  

In the most recent episode of Kovu, Ruby had just realised that she was in line to inherit her grandfather's wealth after her siblings Rina and Roy died. However, she overheard Maridhia, Mzee Haze’s assistant, inform Nafisa that she and her sister Tamara could be Alisa’s daughters as well.  

This information triggered the following events: 

• Ruby drugged and kidnapped Mardhia and Nafisa and put them at an undisclosed location

• She went back home and took some hair samples from Tamara’s comb and went to the hospital for a DNA test 

• Carlos found out about the DNA test and confronted Alisa about it. He was upset because he and Tamara were formerly romantically involved. Could it be that he slept with his own daughter? 

• After Ruby received the results which proved that the sample was a 99% match to Alisa, she kidnapped Tamara, who was heavily pregnant with Roy’s child, Ruby’s brother  

Will jealousy drive Ruby to kill Tamara or will she choose to preserve the unborn baby’s life?
