How did you get into acting or inspired you to pursue an acting career?
I began acting in nursery school and grew to love drama. When I started primary school, I joined the drama club and my late drama teacher Mr. Edward Odanga made me love drama. He ensured I delivered on my emotions as per the script. I continued with drama in high school, college and later joined Azari Arts Troop in Mombasa and the experience was amazing
Please share with us your experience on Zari. How did you become involved?
I was in my hospital bed when I received a call from Lorella Jowi, the casting director. She told me she had seen me in a Safaricom advert and wanted to cast me in one of the Maisha Magic Plus shows. I agreed and she asked me to attend a meeting at the Jiffy Pictures office. While there, I met my boss Rashid and a panel of interviewers and that's how I landed into this great project and met the awesome cast and crew.
Which on-set moments have been most memorable and who is your favourite character?
My most memorable moments on set were when I shared the same platform with Fridah (Angie Magio), Lola (Brenda Wairimu), Nina (Sarah Hassan) and Bosco (Wycliff Eravuna ). It was a dream come true for me.
