Want to experience the real highs and lows that come with relationships? Prepare for an entertaining and thought-provoking dating show, Take Me Home, coming to Maisha Magic Plus (DStv channel 163 and GOtv Supa channel 3) to add some zing to your Sunday night.

Hosted by the funny and witty Prudence Chepkirui, otherwise known as King Kalala, Take Me Home will take audiences on an unforgettable journey of love, hope and transformation with a unique twist.

From Sunday 11 June at 8pm, 11 participants who are on the verge of breaking up with their partners or who have already called it quits will try to rediscover their love. In this unique and emotional social experiment, participants are given the opportunity to date their ex.

With plenty of surprises along the way, through a series of challenges, heartfelt conversations, and romantic encounters, these couples must confront their past, learn from their mistakes, and discover if they can rekindle their connection.

Margaret Mathore, Channel Head for Maisha Magic Plus, says: "We are passionate about providing a platform to the most talented Kenyan creatives as seen in this novel reality dating show which is set to push the boundaries in Kenyan television. Take Me Home will give our viewers the best that reality TV has to offer, and reveal an intimate and honest take on the complexities of modern relationships."

Maisha Magic Plus viewers will learn more about the on-again and off-again tumultuous dynamic between gospel singer Weezdom and influencer Miley, which has often been a hot topic in Kenyan media. While they try to figure out whether their future is together or apart, Weezdom's ex-girlfriend Barbie joins the group in hopes of reuniting. How will this play out with her ex Ezra, who has also dated Miley?

Joining them at an undisclosed picturesque location are famous social media influencer Flirty and his girlfriend Clara, whom he recently found out had been unfaithful. Amidst their efforts to resolve trust issues, a new twist awaits the couple.

Additionally, the show features 30-year-old Brian, who desperately seeks a relationship but whose rules prevent him from finding one. Yvonnia is in a serious relationship with Brian, but his ex-girlfriend Deborah is determined to win him back.

But both women aren’t just hanging up on Brian … Adding an extra layer of complication is Allen, the father of Yvonnia’s child who is plotting ways to win her back while also unsure whether he should swing love in the direction of his current girlfriend Deborah.

"Through Take Me Home, we are pushing creative boundaries in Kenyan television. We are confident that Take Me Home will provide the right blend of drama and entertainment while offering an emotional and compelling insight into relationships' struggles and successes. We invite viewers to stay connected on DStv and GOtv and join us and watch this action-packed reality show on Maisha Magic Plus," says Ronald Shelukindo, Marketing head for Multichoice Kenya.

With an exciting series of events and heart-wrenching emotions, follow the couples on their journey of self-discovery and resolution as they attempt to find true love.
