The fourth season of My Kitchen Rules South Africa ignites this week (Sunday 4 September at 18:00 on M-Net) with a celebration, as cooking comes home again. This year’s Instant Restaurant phase takes the contestants into each other’s homes across the country, once more, with the challenge phase hosted along South Africa's next foodie hotspot: the Garden Route.
We meet our first group of contestants this week as father- and son-in-law Martin and Eddie welcome judges David Higgs and J’Something and the first four teams of home cooks (Azraa and Waven, Jessica and Nicole, Larcé and Jabu, and Mark and Mbali) into Martin’s home in the Swartland. Martin and Eddie’s feast is based on fire – will the contestants find it too hot to handle or will the duo burn their fingers?
Come 11 December, one of the 10 teams of this season’s home cooks will walk away with R1 million!
