Civil War
Kirsten Dunst is captivating in this thought-provoking dystopian war film as a photojournalist who leads a group of fellow journalists on a journey during a civil war in the United States. They make their way from New York to Washington DC, hoping to make it to the White House to interview the President, before it comes under attack. The movie boasts incredible cinematography while capturing the war events through the journalists’ eyes.Â
Fun fact: Dunst’s husband Jesse Plemons has a minor role in the movie. He unexpectedly landed the role while waiting on set for Dunst. The actor who was supposed to play the role dropped out last minute, and Plemons stepped in.
