We’ve seen just how easy some people lie and what they are willing to do when cornered with that lie.
Here’s a round-up of the strangest lies from celebrities over the years.
Jack and Meg White
We all know the famous baseline from "7 Nation Army" and for years The White Stripes had us fooled into thinking that they were siblings, Jack, and Megan White. It was more than 5 years after they made their appearance on the music scene that they confessed to being married. The White’s claimed that they lied so that people will take their music seriously.
Mila Kunis
We first met this bombshell back in 1998 as Jackie Burkhart on the classic TV show, That ‘70s Show. Did you know that Kunis was only 14 when she was cast on the show? She lied about her age to get the role and by the time the producers found out, they kept her on because she was so great in the role.
Beyoncé
The fact that Irreplaceable is a catchy song is no lie, but when it comes to who wrote it the truth is slightly twisted. This lie, however, is not as bad as you think. Ne-Yo wrote the song originally, but willingly gave it to Beyoncé when he realized that it might come across a little misogynistic if he had to sing it.
Lance Armstrong
This was one of the lies that shook the sporting world. Legendary cyclist Lance Armstrong won seven Tour de France titles which he was later stripped of when the truth about his performance-enhancing drugs appeared.
Britney Spears & Khloe Kardashian
These two stars were caught with egg on their faces when they tried to pass off other people’s food as their own on Instagram. In 2016 Britney posted a picture of grilled corn she found on Google and tried convincing her Instagram followers that she had made it. Khloe posted several pictures of baked goods that were from a local Los Angeles bakery with the caption “All of my homemade greatness”.
Rachel’s lie is definitely worse than a lot of these celebrities and we are anxiously waiting to see what she’ll do next.
