Twenty-two of Australia's best home cooks will step into the hallowed halls of the MasterChef Australia kitchen when the 16th season premieres on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) on Tuesday 25 June at 18:00 – and every Monday to Friday at 18:00 until the finale on Tuesday 3 September.

Aside from tougher challenges, bigger names, and higher stakes that are set to make season 16 one of the best in the series’s history, there are also two new faces at the judging table – and one very familiar one. Andy Allen is joined by food critic and journalist Sofia Levin – who’s been a stalwart of the food reviewing scene for over a decade; 5/5 AA Rosette awarded, multi–Michelin Star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli – who also owns one of the world’s top cookery schools, and the much-loved runner-up in MasterChef Australia’s debut season, Poh Ling Yeow.

All four incredibly talented judges bring a lifetime of knowledge to the MasterChef Australia kitchen and will guide the 22 food-besotted contestants through intricate challenges, pushing them to their culinary limits to create mind-blowing creations and memorable dishes until one is crowned the MasterChef Australia winner 2024.

Each season of MasterChef Australia is better than the last. The show continues to dazzle with amazing talent, mind-boggling guest chefs, and huge challenges in exotic locations that push the contestants to their limits. This season, the producers have raised the bar once again on the world’s most unmissably delicious cooking show – and viewers are in for a huge a treat.

MasterChef Australia is available on DStv Premium on M-Net (Channel 101) from Tuesday 25 June and will broadcast Mondays to Fridays at 18:00, and will also be available on DStv Catch Up and DStv Stream. Join the conversation on Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok using #MNet101 and #MasterChefAU.
