At Andrew’s memorial, Edie sees Werner Weber handing over an envelope full of money to Daniel. Uncle Macky is revelling in the attention at the memorial, but gets a rude awakening.

When Edie confronts Werner, he reveals that he, his wife Nonzi, and the McKenzies had "an arrangement". Jaime starts to show that there’s steel beneath the velvet of her quiet nature.

Forty Bell makes up his mind about the chief suspect in the case and, in an unexpected moment of bonding with Edie, she confesses – pregnant in the present – that she gave up another child for adoption 16 years ago.
