There are some things a guest should not say or do at a wedding. To prevent any awkward moments, here's a list of wedding don'ts.
D-i-v-o-r-c-e the D word
Just for the day, the D word should be off-limits. I repeat, refrain from talking to the couple about a failed marriage, abort the mission! No matter what you think, if it's negative, bite your tongue. You are there to wish the couple well, no drama, just good vibes only.
Finally, s/he's settling down!
Don't be a guest-zilla. Leave the groom and bride's past exactly where it should be, in the past. Utter only positive words. The golden rule is, "If you have nothing nice to say, rather don't say anything, or even better, politely decline the invitation."
A white dress, again?
This one is just so unnecessary. Who made it a rule that second or even third-time brides be prohibitted from wearing white? Kim Kardashian has done it three times, so anyone else can. Should the bride opt for colour, that's also great. What the bride wants, the bride gets, even if it doesn't make sense to you.
Here for the food and alcohol
Yes, your reason for attending a wedding may be for the free food and alcohol, but you don't have to announce this, especially not in front of the couple. Eat, drink, and be merry while keeping mum about the real reason you are there.
May the force be with you as you accept an invite to Michelle (Emma Roberts) and Allen’s (Luke Bracey) wedding celebration.
