Ebrahim most notable for her role as Charmaine in the popular local soap 7de Laan, where she played a central role for 19 years.  She has received a KANNA Award for best actress for her portrayal in Athol Fugard’s Boesman and Lena.  

She brings her presence and grace to the role of Aisha Davids, the matriarch in Barakat.
