It’s the final showdown on My Kitchen Rules SA this week (Sunday 12 December at 18:00 on M-Net 101) as finalist duos Retha and Tshepi, Karen and Tenille and Izak and Wessel make their bid for the R1 million prize.

They’re back in the MKRSA kitchen and have to prepare meals to impress a table of heavyweight guest judges. Celebrated cook, food writer, and TV host Sarah Graham; passionate marketer-turned-chef, Marcus Modimokwane; cooking show host and cookbook author Siphokazi Mdlankomo; chef, food writer, and restaurateur Karen Dudley; "The Lazy Makoti" Chef Mogau Seshoene, and MKRSA alumnus Pashi Reddy, alongside resident judges David Higgs and J’Something, will determine their fate. 

The judges are asking them to cook to their strengths in the final, preparing a main and dessert that showcase their ability and passion. That passion and skill has brought them this far – how will the pressure of being two courses away from R1 million influence their final cook?
