Find out what power this advantage has.
Survivor SA

In episode 14, after winning the immunity and individual reward challenge, Meryl was sent to the reward together with three other tribe members of her choice. She chose to take along Phil, Dino and Steffi.

At the reward, Meryl was faced with yet another decision. Choose to enjoy the reward or choose to take blankets for her tribe.

She chose blankets for the tribe, but together with that, she received fortune cookies for each tribe member. Her cookie sent her to The Outpost. Of course, this was her first visit to The Outpost.

At The Outpost, Meryl was faced with yet another decision. If she gives up her vote at the next tribal council, she will receive the 50/50 coin.

If she suspects that she might get votes at Tribal Council against her, she can flip the coin when Nico asks for idols or advantages to be played. If the coin lands on ‘safe’, any votes cast against her will not count. If it lands on ‘not safe’, any votes cast against her will count.  Therefore, she will have a fifty-fifty chance of being safe from the vote.

If she decided to give up her vote, she may take the coin with her. She decided to take the coin and therefore has no vote at the next tribal council, but can instead flip the coin. Therefore, the no vote is in exchange for power.

This advantage is until seven castaways remain in the game.
