Your Sunday Night movie Black Demon brings you face-to-face with a deadly shark. Before you watch, let's dive into news about celebs who have had some incredible shark encounters.

David Hasselhoff
Hasselhoff is no stranger to the deep waters, ever since he played Mitch on the ever-popular lifeguard series Baywatch. He also had a leading role in the third instalment of the shlocky shark movie franchise Sharknado. While filming his docuseries David Hasselhoff’s Sharkwatch in South Africa, he had an encounter with a tiger shark. The shark opened its mouth wide as it swam up close to Hasselhoff and the actor had to distract it with bait to make it swim away. Lucky Hasselhoff!

Will Smith
The Fresh Prince put on his flippers and went swimming with the sharks on his Discovery Channel special Will Smith: Off the Deep End. He had the unbelievable experience of swimming with a tiger shark and called it a life-changing experience. “There was Will Smith before the sharks and there is Will Smith after the sharks,” he said.

Ciara
Pop sensation Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson also braved the waters during their 2021 vacation in Mexico and floated with nurse sharks. And as you guessed, they both looked flawless. See for yourself.

Chris Hemsworth
During Shark Week 2021, Hemsworth got up close and personal with these fascinating creatures in the National Geographic docuseries Chris Hemsworth Getting Familiar with Sharks. Hemsworth has a  passion for these creatures and wanted to study them to see whether humans and sharks can coexist peacefully. “It’s such a privilege seeing these massive creatures up close,” he said of the experience.

Rihanna
In 2015, the Barbados babe dived head-first into a shark tank for a Harper's Bazaar photoshoot in honour of the movie Jaws. While the famous shot of her reclining in a shark's mouth was obviously fake, the footage of her swimming with the sharks was as real as it gets.
