It’s numerous factors that become a perfect storm that turns a person into a serial killer. Some may kill to feed their impulses, while others, just like the shoe fetish killer in Reyka, are driven by trauma. 

Here's a look at killers with disturbingly twisted fetishes.

Feet – Leroy Rogers

Dayton Leroy Rogers (dubbed The Molalla Forest Killer), Oregon’s most notorious serial killer, enjoyed biting and sometimes amputating his victims' feet from the ankle. According to evidence presented at his trial, the sadistic act took place while the women were still alive.

Heads – Ted Bundy

Ted Bundy, an infamous and terrifying serial killer from American history, would cut off his victims’ heads with a hacksaw and take them back to his apartment to wash and brush before storing them as mementoes. Bundy described himself as "the most cold-hearted son of a b*tch you'll ever meet”.

Underwear – Anatoly Onoprienko

Anatoly Onoprienko, a Ukrainian serial killer, arsonist, and robber (also known as “The Terminator", “Citizen O”, and “The Beast”), kept all his female victims’ used undergarments. In an interview following his arrest, Onoprienko said he didn't see his victims as individuals but just as masses.

Eyeball – Charles Albright

Charles Albright aka “The EyeballKiller”, “The Dallas Ripper”, and “The Dallas Slasher”, killed at least three prostitutes. Albright would strip the women of everything except their bras, which he pulled up over their breasts. With so much precision, he would then gouge out their eyes.
