An Instant Restaurant in the leafy suburbs of Johannesburg is the setting for M-Net reality show My Kitchen Rules SA on Sunday, 5 August, at 18:00. It's Parkview moms Maj and Joleen’s turn to whip up a three-course meal with high hopes of garnering a favourable reception – and a good score – from the show’s celebrity judges David Higgs and J’Something, as well as from their competition rivals. 

Classy, sophisticated fine dining is the name of the game, but anything can happen in the kitchen – especially when one of the hostesses discovers that an important ingredient didn’t make it off the shopping list!

Maj and Joleen are the fourth of the five pairs of home cooks from Table 2 who are vying for places in the next phase. At the end of next week’s fifth Instant Restaurant, the duo with the lowest score will be eliminated.

My Kitchen Rules SA is broadcast on M-Net channel 101 every Sunday night at 18:00.
