Theyโve seen it all: gunshots, stab injuries, motor vehicle trauma, and bodies too decomposed to identify. Itโs a thankless job, processing and cleaning the deceased. But in the never-ending cycle of violence in South Africa, itโs the men and women working in state morgues, who provide police with the first clues that help solve heinous crimes and get many victims back to their families for burial.
