It’s a historical whodunit as the University of Cape Town sets out to reconnect nine skeletons, unethically obtained and housed in its vaults for over a century, with their descendants. Now, using DNA analysis and 3D facial reconstruction, scientists aim to reconstruct their faces and finally return the bones back to family members in the Karoo for reburial.
