Tuesday 30 July in the Olympics Games Paris 2024 sees the Triathlon, Artistic Gymnastics, Women’s Sevens Rugby and Men’s Football take centre stage, as the action in Paris continues to enthral.
The Men's Individual Final in the Triathlon will kick off the day, as arguably the fittest all-round athletes in the world showcase the limits of human endurance, before Egypt chase a key win in the Men's Volleyball tournament when they battle Italy.
The early afternoon features Bronze and Gold Medal matches for the Mixed Doubles in Table Tennis, before Angola continue their Women's Handball campaign with a group stage clash against Hungary.
One of the highlights of any Artistic Gymnastics programme at Paris 2024 is the Women's Team Final, which will take centre stage in the early evening of Tuesday, while the Women's Sevens Rugby tournament will close with Bronze and Gold Medal matches at Stade de France.
Men's Football also holds key group stage action, with Morocco, Guinea and Mali looking to represent Africa with pride when they take on Iraq, United States and Paraguay respectively.
Morocco coach Tarik Sektioui has had to deal with several obstacles in his team's Paris 2024 campaign: "Some players have faced refusals from their clubs because it [Paris 2024] is not a FIFA date. It's difficult to assemble your squad in these conditions and you have to make technical and tactical adjustments depending on whether or not a player is present.”
Sektioui added, “The national team deserves its place at the Paris Olympics and our goal is to do better than previous participations.”
