Ignition TV opens on DStv Access in April
Tune into Ignition TV, South Africa’s number one destination for car fanatics and petrol heads on DStv Access, from Saturday, 1 April.
From 1 April, Ignition TV (DStv Channel 189) will be included in DStv’s fast-growing Access platform, bringing its unique blend of adrenalin-fuelled entertainment and sound motoring advice to a brand-new audience.
Ignition TV delivers some of the best motoring content from around the globe, as well as a compelling slate of local shows including car reviews, spinning, advice for buyers, biking, kasi culture, and plenty of lifestyle shows.
Ignition TV, owned by Arena Broadcast, started as a weekends-only channel in 2008 and, due to its popularity, expanded to a full 24/7 service in 2014.
The shows on the channel include Rhythm & Smoke, a local spinning show that tracks the lives of Mzansi legends, DJ Maphorisa and Stacey Lee May; Celeb Rides where DJ Sabby and Ney-the-Bae ride shotgun with your favourite local stars and get to know them a little better through their cars; The Fast Lane which puts the spotlight on the glamorous lifestyles, scandals and controversies of Formula 1 racers.
