Boomerang changes to Cartoonito
From Saturday, 25 March, Boomerang Africa will rebrand to Cartoonito Africa. Discover a world of adventure and intrigue with new titles and beloved classics.
There’s a big change coming to DStv this March. Starting on Friday, 25 March, Boomerang Africa will become Cartoonito Africa, offering an exciting mix of classic Boomerang shows and brand-new titles.
The channel promises more laughs, adventures, and new friends in store that are sure to delight viewers of all ages.
There’s still plenty of room for long-time Boomerang favourites like Zig & Sharko, Mr Bean, and Masha and the Bear alongside new friends such as Dino Ranch, Thomas and Friends: All Engines Go and Lucas the Spider.
Cartoonito brings the cartoons together – while adding brand-new shows like Batwheels, Bugs Bunny Builders an exciting special, Secret Origins of the Batwheels which kicks off at 08:40 when the channel launches.
Georginah Machiridza, MultiChoice Executive Head of General Entertainment Channels, adds, “We’ve had a long-standing partnership with Boomerang and Warner Bros. Discovery, and we’re excited to carry the rebranded channel for our audiences in Africa. We know that the new Cartoonito channel will bring our DStv customers even more value and more kids’ entertainment.”
