With exciting women’s sporting events to look forward to, SuperSport has designated 2023 as a year that will be packed with women’s sports.

The tournaments include the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup which will be held in South Africa from Saturday, 14 January 2023. It’s followed by the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup which will also be hosted in South Africa from Friday, 10 February 2023. Meanwhile, the Women’s Ashes will commence in June.

For football fans, the FIFA Women’s World Cup will kick off in Australia in July while the Netball World Cup takes place in the same month.

Celebrating women

The Here for Her campaign aims to create more female heroes, increase viewership and talkability around women in sports; and unearth more female talent across the continent.

Rooted in bigger dreams and burning ambition, the campaign is designed to empower women across the continent and will feature in all the SuperSport markets.

This month SuperSport will turn pink as it officially launches the campaign, and will continue throughout 2023. The theme will feature on all SuperSport platforms, including on-air, digital and social channels across the continent.
