DStv Access is your inspiration this August! Your house, your hair, your dress, your dog, your mind, your mess – see how to fix it all!
We could all use a little help, so this August DStv Access has called in the experts. In the most entertaining way possible, they’ll show us how working on one part of your life can have a knock-on effect on the rest. You deserve a beautiful life.
Jo Cooke and Alison Law from Curvy Brides Boutique are tacking hoarder houses in The Big Clean Season 1, Randy is back showing how everyone can find beauty in Say Yes To The Dress Season 20, Cesar Millan: Better Human, Better Dog Season 2 shows us practical steps for being calmer and more in control of ourselves so we can help our “problem” pets. And we have 3 new shows that highlight the importance of working on our mental health, with My Extreme OCD Life Season 1, Eating Ourselves To Death and My Obese Life Season 1.
There’s also inspiration for a beautiful life and plenty of creativity and fun in store as Ayanda Thabethe talks to rising African design stars in Afrimaxx Season 1, musician Soumik Datta brings us the Rhythms of India Season 1, and Honey (DStv Channel 177) gets competitive while teaching us new tricks with hair and (separately) food in Hair To The Throne Season 2, My Zambian Plate Season 1, and Mom vs Wife: Kenya Season 2.
And there’s so much more to see on DStv Access… scroll down and mark your diaries for more new series, and for a sneak peek at what’s happening in the other packages…
They helped big brides prepare for the big day, now best friends Jo Cooke and Alison Law (the owners of the Curvy Brides Boutique) are reaching out to people (especially retirees and people with mobility issues) who’re overwhelmed by their own household clutter and dirt. Aside from the nitty gritty practical work, they’re also offering kindness, understanding, and emotional support as they get to the root of how things just became too much to handle.

Things are getting heated in the Kleinfeld Bridal fitting rooms during the show’s 15th year on screen. This season’s treats include not just a mom who thinks she knows better, but her unexpected ally, the bride’s uncle, who wants to see the 30-year-old in a Disney Princess-style poofy ballgown. There’s a bride who’s gotten engaged just hours before her appointment, and a bride who’s unable to use her hands needs to find a dress that will allow her to use her feet. Some familiar faces will return, and a Dance Moms star needs a dress.

It’s going to be pawesome!
