South African homes are filled with climate warriors, recycling champions and little witches and wizards with green fingers. Now DStv and Cartoon Network (DStv Channel 301) are helping kids to clean up the whole planet with the Climate Champions initiative. This is a youth-oriented program aimed at stimulating awareness around climate change and other environmental issues. And it's getting a very special home, in a place where kids learn as they play.
The Grubby Shores add-on will bring cool climate clean-up challenges to the Island Adventures platform on the MyDStv App. Your kids will be able to play characters from their favourite Cartoon Network shows – like We Bare Bears, Craig of The Creek, The Amazing World of Gumball, DC Super Hero Girls and the Teen Titans – and put them to work cleaning up Grubby Shores until the beach is spic and span.
