Local shows on DStv will never let you down with unique content and vibrant storylines, and this week things are even better with new Mzansi stories as well as awesome Afrikaans shows!
Beauty contest lovers are in for a treat with Miss South Africa 2021 that will broadcast simultaneously on M-Net (DStv channel 101) and Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) with the fabulous Anele Mdoda and Nico Panagio as hosts.
The Gqom royal family are in the spotlight in the brand-new reality series Uthando Lodumo on Mzansi Magic, and don’t miss out on the TV-movie Umsesane.
Over on kykNET (DStv channel 144), TV and radio personality Rian van Heerden and his team investigate conspiracy theories from a South African perspective in Wat Is Waarheid?, and learn more about the interesting people who live and work around the West Coast in Weskusbewoners.
VIA (DStv channel 147) is also rolling out new content with the brand-new dating series Ram Vir ’n Rus, and another radio presenter, Martelize Brink, makes her TV debut in her own talk and food show, Martelize Se Stamtafel.

It’s time for the dazzling pageant finale! The Top 10 take centre stage and we say goodbye to Miss South Africa 2020, Shudufhadzo Musida, before Miss South Africa 2021 is crowned live at the Grand Arena, GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World in Cape Town. The ceremony will be hosted by Anele Mdoda and Nico Panagio.
