Philly’s Games to heat up your festive season
DStv renews its partnership with Philly’s Games for the third year.
Tembisa takes centre stage as the annual Philly’s Games, in partnership with DStv, ushers in the festive season through a much anticipated Draw event. This 13-day off season kasi tournament begins on Thursday, 19 December 2024, and ends on Wednesday, 01 January 2025.
The 33rd edition of the festive games marks the 3rd year in which DStv proudly sponsors and broadcasts all matches live on SuperSport, bringing subscribers More Diski and More DStv.

The tournament, which platforms the best unseen amateur footballers, will see 24 kasi teams from across Gauteng battle it out for the grand prize of R220 000,00 in the final customarily held at the Mehlareng Stadium on New Year’s Day.
The runners-up, 3rd and 4th placed teams are all set to walk away with R80 000,00, R30 000,00 and R20 000,00 respectively.
With the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana star Themba Zwane, and South African football legends such as Teko Modise, Katlego Mphela and Happy Jele amongst others, having played in this tournament, this season is sure to unearth even more diski diamonds.

The first two days of the festive football drawcard will take place at Etafuleni, Tembisa before the action shifts to Ivory Park at Ma Seven between 21st and the 24th of December in what will likely serve as a worthy pre-Christmas appetiser for fans.
The Phomolong Sports Complex will host fixtures between the 26th and the 29th of December whilst build-up to the much-anticipated final will see the best compete at Esiqongweni in Tembisa on 30th and the 31st of December 2024.
