Catch Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly

Britain is a nation of dog lovers. However, when things get out of control and man’s best friend turns into an owner’s worst enemy, there’s a man you can call: Master dog trainer, Graeme Hall. He has a simple mantra: any dog, any size, any problem.

In each episode of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly, Graeme travels across the UK and helps some of the country’s most desperate owners regain control of their badly behaved dogs. Don’t miss season 6 which premieres on Sunday, 25 August at 21:15 on CBS Reality (DStv Channel 132).

What makes Season 6 of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly worth the watch? Season Six was a great season to film, and there are many great dogs in it that viewers will really enjoy. I take my hat off to the people who actually find the dogs for me, because I’m not involved in choosing any of them, I just travel to where I’m told!

Can you share a memorable success story from Season Six? One that springs to mind was with a Doberman who literally and very dramatically ripped the jacket off my back. That was a difficult case, although I had a great result in the end and I was very pleased with the way it turned out. But I was very sad about the jacket because it was my favourite!

What was the most surprising behavior you had to address in Season 6? It was a really quirky one, because it involved a bit of detective work, but the most surprising case was the episode with the dog who barked his head off whenever his owners touched a fishing rod. That was quite a particular problem, because all they wanted to do at the weekend was go and sit at the side of a lake and fish, be calm, chill out and destress. And their dog was absolutely fine until they touched a fishing rod which, as one of the owners said, was kind of the point of fishing. So he was ruining it.
