Celebrating two decades of Africa Magic!
Fans can now indulge in the premium content of Africa Magic Showcase.
This month, Africa Magic is celebrating 20 years of magical storytelling and as part of the monumental celebration, Africa Magic has introduced a fresh brand logo, complete with unique identity colours for each of its seven distinctive channels.
Started in 2003, Africa Magic has produced over 30,000 hours of authentic African stories – becoming a staple in family entertainment across Africa which has grown to a chain of seven channels - Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, Africa Magic Family, Africa Magic Yoruba, Africa Magic Igbo, Africa Magic Hausa, and Africa Magic Epic.
Dr Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice says the changes reflect the "tenacity, creativity, enthusiasm, warmth, harmony, happiness, inspiration, and hope among the diverse cultures on the African continent."
The exciting news doesn’t stop there ... More fans can now indulge in the premium content of Africa Magic Showcase. Previously reserved for DStv Compact Plus and Premium packages, the channel is now available to DStv Compact subscribers and viewers can expect a line-up of incredible upcoming shows launching as part of the AM20 celebration: Slum King, Refuge, Chronicles, Love and Light, Masquerade of Aniedo, Simberella, and many more.
