Good news for football fans as their favourite teams will square-off in this exciting pre-season friendly tournament this July!
The Premier League Summer Series will see Unai Emery’s side Aston Villa and last season’s surprise package Brentford join Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Fulham, and Newcastle United in this exciting pre-season tournament
Kicking off the tournament at the legendary Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday 22 July, viewers will be entertained to a clash between Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion, who come back from off-season having finished 6th and in the process, having qualified for the Europa League.
The action continues on Sunday 23 July at the same venue, as Fulham takes on Brentford and Newcastle United, which hopes to return to the Champions League after finishing 4th last season, takes on a tricky-to-beat Aston Villa, who will also play European football this season.
As the series progresses, fans will witness Miguel Almirón's highly anticipated return to Atlanta on Wednesday 26 July as Newcastle United plays Chelsea, while Brentford take on Brighton & Hove Albion. The excitement then travels to Exploria Stadium in Orlando that same night where Fulham and Aston Villa clash in an epic showdown.
The penultimate match of the Premier League Summer Series takes place on Friday 28 July as Brighton & Hove Albion goes head-to-head against Newcastle United.
Finally, on Sunday 30 July, viewers will witness the culmination of this thrilling tournament with Aston Villa vs. Brentford and Chelsea vs. Fulham, ensuring a spectacular finale to a football-filled season.
