DStv Prestige Terms and Conditions

1. These are rules that apply to the DStv Prestige package offered by MultiChoice Nigeria Limited and its affiliates (“MultiChoice”). By subscribing to DStv Prestige, you agree that these rules, read together with the DStv Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) and the terms and conditions for the use of DStv equipment.

2. You can subscribe to the DStv Prestige package at any time by making an annual payment for the DStv Premium package.
3. The DStv Premium package entitles you to the following:
   1. a special edition gold-coloured Explora decoder and remote control at our cost, and 50% off a second gold-coloured Explora and remote control;
   2. annual access to the DStv Premium bouquet, including PVR and XtraView functionalities and BoxOffice movies;
   3. annual access to Showmax;
   4. occasional lifestyle benefits including, without limitation, discounts on fashion, hospitality, wellness and beauty, entertainment and household essentials, as may be selected by MultiChoice from time to time;
   5. access to exclusive/members-only media and entertainment events in Nigeria hosted by MultiChoice Nigeria and/or any of its affiliates or any other party as MultiChoice may select;
   6. a VIP service with a dedicated account manager which entitles you to skip queues when you have enquiries or need assistance with your DStv subscription and subscriptions to related products, as well as our technicians who will conduct an annual installation check at our cost and will be able to assist you with your Explora decoder installation.
4. Until indicated otherwise by MultiChoice, you cannot become a DStv Prestige subscriber if you are a DStv Business subscriber.
   
   Other terms
   
   
5. MultiChoice shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
6. Some benefits offered to subscribers to the DStv Prestige package may be provided by independent third parties and you hereby agree to MultiChoice sharing your personal information with our affiliates and such independent third parties to enable you to redeem such benefits. In addition, you indemnify MultiChoice for:
   1. the quality of any product, service or experience provided by any third party; and/or
   2. any loss or damage that may be suffered as a result of the acceptance and use of a product or service, or the redemption of any benefit provided by a third party.
7. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Subscription Terms and Conditions, should you opt to cancel DStv Prestige at any time, you shall not receive a refund.
8. The rule of construction that the Terms and Conditions will be interpreted against the party responsible for drafting of the same will not apply.
9. MultiChoice may cede, assign or novate any or all of its rights and/or any or all of its obligations set out herein and/or in the Terms and Conditions to any person or entity without notice to you.
10. MultiChoice reserves the right to suspend your subscription if you are involved in fraud or manipulation of the process.
11. The failure by MultiChoice to enforce any of the rights or provisions contained herein and/or in the Subscription Terms and Conditions will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision.
