Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action on DStv, with live airings of the NXT, SmackDown and Raw shows running from Wednesday 18 to Tuesday 24 September 2024.
The action begins on the morning of Wednesday 18 September with WWE NXT Episode 791. The resurgent Jaida Parker has set her sights on Fatal Influence, declaring that she will end the faction’s reign of terror in the women’s division.
“I am not done with Fatal Influence. I am p***** off, because what Fatal Influence fails to realise is that it took three of them to take down one of me... after my match,” said Parker. “What they also fail to realise is that Jaida Parker will always get her revenge.”
Saturday 21 September brings Episode 1309 of WWE SmackDown. Bayley’s return from injury and the uncertainty surrounding when Tiffany Stratton will cash her Money in the Bank contract is not concerning WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax.
“Let them come,” said the Queen of the Ring winner. “There isn’t a woman on the roster who can match my power. This belt [WWE Women’s Championship] is going nowhere.”
Tuesday 24 September will feature Episode 1635 of WWE Raw. Sami Zayn has declared his intention to win the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther – noting that he defeated ‘The Ring General’ to win the Intercontinental Championship earlier this year.
“I beat you [Gunther] at WrestleMania, ending the longest reign of an Intercontinental title,” said Zayn. “And I know I can do it again... this time for the Heavyweight Championship. You’re one hell of a wrestler, Gunther, but I am your boogie man.”
