MultiChoice Ghana has officially launched the 2024/25 Football Season with a vibrant event that brought together stakeholders, football enthusiasts, and fans for an electrifying experience. Held on Friday, 16 August 2024, the launch featured a thrilling watch party for the Premier League curtain-raiser between Manchester United and Fulham, transforming the forecourt of the MultiChoice Ghana head office into a mini stadium. Multiple screens and dazzling lights created an atmosphere buzzing with excitement as attendees immersed themselves in the return of international football on DStv, GOtv, and Showmax after a 70-day break. Alex Okyere, Managing Director of MultiChoice Ghana, expressed his enthusiasm for the season, promising fans over 3,000 live games from 14 leagues and competitions, filled with goals, drama, and unforgettable moments.

Mr. Okyere highlighted the variety of football action available to viewers, including top-tier leagues like the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A, alongside the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League on SuperSport. The evening culminated in Manchester United's 1-nil victory over Fulham, marking an exciting start to the football season.
