David Mathenge is a Kenyan artist known in music circles as Nameless. “There are two kinds of people in the world, those who have got names and those who are nameless,” he states. His sound is Genge music which can also be classified as Hip Hop. He is a university graduate and architect. He is married to long-time sweetheart and fellow musician Wahu. His career was kick-started by his 1999 star search win on Kenya's urban music station 98.4 Capital FM, for his song "Megarider”. The tune was about a poor young man who was trying to seduce a woman but only had enough money for Kenya Bus tickets, and not the rich lifestyle she desired. Some of his songs include “Deadley”, “Mambo Sina”, “Najidai”, “On fire”, “Sinzia”, “Mannerless”, “Majitu”, “Sunshine” and “Obama O”.
