Now that we know this was one of former President Barrack Obama's fave songs in 2020, we know that this chart has its pulse of the best. That's a small flex, but this collaborative joint truly got all the buzz at the start of the year, and it was not without good reason.

Nomcebo Zikode – Xola Moya Wami

She's one of the year's biggest success stories. Fresh off delivering some soul-stirring vocals on Master KG's blockbuster hit 'Jerusalema', Nomcebo proved she's not one hit wonder with her own breakout hit and best selling album. She's had a massive year and we love it for her.

MFR Souls ft Major League DJz, Kamo Mphela & Bontle Smith  – Amanikiniki

With the amapiano wave sustaining its impact through 2020, MFR Souls floated to the crest with a fire banger. Featuring Major League DJz, Kamo Mphela and Bontle Smith, the track has continued giving us all the essential street anthem.

BEST PERFORMING GQOM SINGLE 

Babes Wodumo – Elamont         

The Queen of Gqom made a triumphant return to the charts with her single Elamont and album Idandokazi. This would be her second studio album after 2016's 'Gqom Queen Vol 1', and many have applauded it for improving on her initial offering. Babes' return also brought back the sound back to the forefront, proving once she is the first lady of Gqom. You can't help but stan.
