This week Coachella Valley and Arts Festival announced its lineup for its 2024 leg – and South Africa’s pop favourite, Tyla, has been revealed as one of the performers.
Tyla’s journey started when she first released her debut single, “Getting Late”, with Kooldrink production, which earned her millions of views.
There seems to be no ceiling for Tyla’s meteoric rise in the music industry, as she performs next to artists like Lana Del Rey, who makes her return to the Coachella stage 10 years after her debut album, Doja Cat, Tyler the Creator, and Ice Spice.
The 21-year old “Water” hitmaker who gained popularity from doing music covers will be performing at Coachella from the 12th until the 19th of April 2024. Tems and DJ Spinall will also be joining her at the festival, bringing Africa to centre stage.
