You have something in common with Drake - and it's your appreciation for Kelvin Momo's distinguished musical techniques.
And now that his album, the critically lauded 2022 'Amukelani', has been certified a classic, the Canadian rapper could only add his authority in endorsing a flawless project. Drake on Wednesday hopped on Momo's Instagram DMs, where he sang praises for his work.
"You my friend are from another planet", he shared in the DM, which has since been splashed on the internet. He continued, "Listen to you is like a religious experience".
A Drake co-sign is nothing to scoff at. And when that stamp of approval arrives shortly after the album was named the Best South African Album of 2022 by Channel O, everything falls into place for the 28-year-old Soweto native.
"Waking up to such, speechless", wrote the 'Soweto's Groove' hitmaker, who enjoys widespread acclaim for engineering 'private school piano'.
Well, Drake, we love this for you.
