This season of Madam has left viewers guessing right from the get-go and even as the curtains are about to be drawn in a finale, we are still determining how things will turn out. Many storylines are still unresolved as the show's fans anticipate a climax that will put all their doubts to bed.

As it stands, the very first question on everyone’s mind is, “Will Aal and Lankai find their way back into each other’s arms?”. This has become necessary owing to Lankai serving Aal hot breakfast, marrying Major, and having an affair with James despite all that is happening around her. Aal, on the other hand, is trying hard to avoid his fatherly duties and hook up his brother with Betty - the mother of his (Aal) baby. Is there a chance that these moves by Aal could end up charting a path for him into Lankai’s heart again?

For Pastor Kumi and his family, things remain murky as his political ambitions have turned him into ‘public enemy number one’ to his daughter, Caroline. It is yet to be determined if his moves to use his church as a springboard for his political career would backfire and come to haunt him in the future.

Caroline is also lurking in the shadows of being the new Mrs. Morgan or going back to her father’s house unmarried. Her closeness with Noah has led to a sweet mistake and it is only a matter of time before their deed becomes public knowledge. The web that has been spun in this circle dier, boi!

Another angle that many are itching to see the end of is the fiery battle between Van Ankrah and Lankai Morgan. It is currently too open to tell who is set to get the better of the other as they all have enough arsenal in their armories to blow each other sky-high. It is going to be interesting to see how they would end their longstanding beef. Will Van triumph over Lankai again or will Lankai’s newfound information on the minister get her the edge to hit him where it would hurt the most? We can only wait to find out.

As the days go by, fans are expecting secrets and lies to start getting exposed, but it appears we would have to wait until the very last day to know. As it stands, Kevin is yet to meet his ‘dead father’ - a secret Aunty Jo is trying to protect with her life. On the Other hand, Noah is also yet to discover whether he indeed is a father or if he was being tricked all this while by Yaa. Jude is also waiting to find out the identity of his father despite visiting his home several times. 

In addition, Aal is desperate to know what happened to Yvonne while Nina is also praying that Ato Portuphy can miraculously come back to life to save her from spending an eternity in jail for a crime she did not commit. 

So many more questions to be uncovered in the season finale: Will Van Ankrah manage to break Aal and his team’s drug ring and put the ring leaders behind bars? Will Lankai be able to discover Sarah’s involvement in the drug game and save her before she drags the entire Morgan family into the mud? 

The secrets dier plenty oh! As the days roll away quickly, we can only hope and pray that everyone will get what they deserve at the end of the day.

We are in for a long haul in this finale week and can only wait with bated breath as things unfold slowly. One thing we can expect is a pulsating showdown come the last day on Madam. Catch the exciting finale on 20 September at 8:00 pm.
