Set in Ghanaian mythological times, Amoanimaa, an earth goddess, pure of heart and intentions, is chosen among five siblings to inherit the ultimate powers of their father-deity.
The decision angers the older siblings who plot Amoanimaa’s downfall but fail many times due to her expansive influence.
Love makes an entrance as Amoanimaa’s lover is thrown into the mix and joins the plot to bring the powerful goddess to her knees. The plan goes as expected and Amoanimaa is caught in her feelings and with it, thrown into a powerful prison.
As fate would have it and after centuries, the ancient goddess regains her consciousness in modern Ghana after her siblings and the love of her life, come together to settle a score they had with her and keep her imprisoned and forever forgotten by all the mortals who revered her.
Finding herself in unknown times with new technologies in the 21st century, Amoanimaa grapples with her lost status in a world without a clue about deity worship. She however sets her sight to regain the reverence she once enjoyed.
She uses her powers to her advantage and soon, her prominence grows with her presence being felt both far and wide. The attention she enjoys forces her to become somewhat of a tyrant.
The mortals, led by a farmer named Kofi, a top chemist with a dark past, challenge Amoanimaa in a showdown to save humanity. Kofi, with the aid of modernity, tries to overturn all the powerful machinations and spells cast by Amoanimaa. The earth goddess ups her game and Kofi also races against time to ensure that all that powerful spells are dispelled by technology.
By some rare circumstances, Amoanimaa and Kofi join forces as a threat from Amoanimaa’s past catches up with her and threatens to destroy her and all those who believe in her.
With Amoanimaa’s powers and Kofi’s knowledge of modern technologies, the deity-mortal team goes through hell and high water to ensure that both their worlds are preserved and that they all get the chance to right their wrongs.
Will the fight between gods and men end well? Who will carry the day as Amoanimaa and Kofi go head-to-head? Will there be a twist when Amoanimaa and Kofi work together?
