It’s crazy how people can go from being lovers to barely even acquaintances, but Azeezat and Marcus? Oh, they’ve taken it up a notch. Believe it or not, it wasn’t always this bad. Marcus and Azeezat were actually quite the pair—madly in love and practically inseparable. Sure, there was a little hiccup when Marcus’s mom, Hajia Malaika, decided to interfere. Classic, right? Grooming her son to marry someone else. Naturally, this put a strain on things, and Marcus and Azeezat stopped talking for a while. But as fate would have it, love and business brought them back together. It was almost like old times, until… well, everything collapsed.

Enter the real twist. Azeezat’s mother was killed, and who’s to blame? None other than Marcus’s mom, Hajia Malaika. Can you imagine? Azeezat didn’t take that too kindly (understandably), and she swore revenge not just on Marcus, but his entire family. That’s when things really hit the fan. Any chance of love between them? Gone. Instead, it was war.

Then, just when you think it couldn’t get messier, Imani, who was pregnant with Marcus’s child, gets murdered. Marcus, of course, thinks Azeezat did it. And that’s when chaos officially kicks in.

Driven by rage, Marcus sets Azeezat’s house on fire. Yes, he really tried to kill her. Luckily, Azeezat made it out alive, but don’t think for a second that this is the end of the madness. Oh no, things are just getting started.
