The latest BBNaija eviction night delivered another gut-wrenching blow to the housemates and fans alike. The solo evictions this season have been nothing short of brutal, first breaking apart ships and now claiming a sweetheart and a twin in one swift move.

Tonight, the house was shaken by the evictions of Handi, Shaun, and Tjay, leaving the remaining housemates to face even more pressure as the finale looms, just two weeks away.

Handi takes a bow

The crux of the matter

With nine housemates on the chopping block, fans were eager to see who would survive this crucial eviction. Their curiosity was quickly satisfied when just minutes into the live show, Handi was the first to be sent packing.

Nominated by Sooj and Topher, Handi exited the house with mixed emotions. Speaking to Ebuka, she revealed that her flirtation with Kellyrae was purely for drama, adding that she knew Kassia wouldn’t be upset. However, her biggest regret was leaving her twin sister, Wanni, behind. “It’s so hard leaving the love of my life in the house,” Handi confessed to Ebuka.

Tjay leaves the house

Next to face the eviction axe was Tjay, who was nominated by Handi and Kassia. On stage with Ebuka, Tjay admitted that he didn’t expect to last as long as he did in the house. He shared his excitement about the future, particularly in exploring talents he discovered while on the show, such as acting. “So the plan is to do part and part,” he explained, intending to balance his career as a medical doctor with acting.

Shaun says goodbye

Shaun, the final housemate evicted for the night, was nominated by Anita and Kellyrae. His departure marked the end of his time with housemates Wanni, his romantic interest, and his former pair partner, Victoria.

Speaking candidly with Ebuka, Shaun revealed that he had a gut feeling about his eviction and expressed his desire to explore his relationship with Wanni outside the house. “Wanni is my girl. I will wait for her till she comes out,” Shaun said, making it clear that their connection was real and not just for the cameras.

Ebuka's burning questions

Ebuka’s dragging: No one is safe

Of course, no eviction night is complete without Ebuka putting housemates on the spot, and tonight was no exception. HoH Sooj was the first to get grilled, with Ebuka questioning him about eavesdropping on Nelly and Ocee’s conversation. He also touched on Sooj’s questionable behaviour with Victoria, noting that Nelly might not have been too happy about it. As always, Ebuka’s line of questioning left the housemates squirming, but it made for great entertainment.

Kellyrae and Wanni also found themselves in the hot seat as they had to clear the air about a recent disagreement over meat distribution.

Finally, the tension between Kassia and Onyeka took centre stage again as Ebuka reopened their unresolved issues. Onyeka, who had previously made a false statement claiming Kassia had a child, apologised, explaining that she had mixed up Kassia with Rhuthee, the actual housemate who has a child. Although Onyeka insisted it was an honest mistake, the damage was done, and the beef between the two seems far from over.

With just two weeks until the BBNaija finale, the house is getting smaller, but the drama is only getting bigger. As the competition intensifies, fans can expect even more shocking twists and turns before one housemate finally claims the grand prize.
