Peace is a 23-years-old and considered the local village belle. Growing up she saw big things for herself, an escape from the city, a rich husband and a glamorous life in her future. With no skill or passion for academics, Peace has made attempts to move cityward with visits to relatives but these have never manifested in any lasting life change.

Her attempts to come across as a sophisticated city girl are endearing in just how pathetic and misguided they usually are- from her clothes and make up to the random, often wrongly used phrases and expressions in her vocabulary.

From Oviyon’s return to the village three years ago, Peace set her sights on him. Oviyon was not really in the frame of mind to refuse and his gone along with what is now some kind of a relationship, however imbalanced. She does have feelings for him, of a kind, similar to the kind of feelings a girl with daddy issues might have for a father figure.
