In the latest twist of the Big Brother Naija season, Tjay has emerged victorious as the new HOH, taking over from Onyeka. This marks the second solo HOH win of the season, and Tjay's achievement comes with high expectations and new responsibilities. As the house gears up for a week of challenges and surprises, Tjay faces the task of leading his housemates through a week of tension as nine housemates fight for their lives and one more week in the No Loose Guard house.

In a surprising twist, Biggie announced a unique nomination process. Instead of the usual Diary Room nominations, housemates were assigned different spots around the house to write their nominations in secret. They were given writing materials and had to keep their nominations confidential until Biggie prompted them to begin. The nominees for this week include Ben, Chizoba, Kassia, Kellyrae, Ozee, Shaun, Sooj, Topher, and Victoria. This list features a mix of solo players and previous duos, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the upcoming vote.
Topher faced an unexpected twist when he was nominated by Big Brother himself for failing to follow the instructions – writing only one name instead of two. Topher expressed mixed feelings about this development at first, and eventually crying in Anita's arms a few moments later.
Additionally, housemates received their wager brief for the week, focusing on the “Artverse” theme and sustainability. They are required to create three masks, two outfits, and a modern art exhibit. An event will be held to showcase their creations, and they must also compose a poem to narrate their work. The majority voted to wager 100% of their budget on this challenge.
