Strategy

With N100 Million at stake, and #BBNaija Season 7 reaching an exciting crescendo, it comes as no surprise that the Housemates are employing different strategies, in their respective bids to eliminate the competition. Both Daniella and Bella admitted to having chosen those whom they believed were strong contenders for the crown. Hermes, who received a total of four Nominations, was one Housemate that Bella dubbed a "strong contender". Aside from Bella, Hermes was also Nominated by Doyin, Daniell and Modella. Deji's strategy, on the other hand, was that of loyalty. He told Biggie that he didn't Nominate anyone from the former Level 2 House since his sights were set on restoring the balance between Level 1 and 2, even though the Houses have since merged.

Personality clashes

An astounding eight out of 10 Housemates who had their Diary Sessions today opted for lack of peace in the House, as the reason for making their Nominations. Daniella, Bryann, Allysyn and Hermes all said that they Nominated Chichi because of the fact that she is rowdy – and according to Daniella, "a bit too extra". Doyin made it onto the Nominations radar of four Housemates namely; Eloswag, Hermes, Rachel and Deji.

When Biggie asked for their reasons, the common factor was the fact that she was in everyone's business and she was difficult to understand. Sheggz, who had a total of four Nominationations, was noted by Rachel as causing confusion. When probed further, Rachel said, "he likes causing small arguments here and there Biggie". Sheggz was also put on the chopping block by Adekunle, Diana and Chizzy.

Winging it

Eloswag, Dotun and Bryann couldn't give Biggie a concrete reason for their Nominations other than the fact that the names they gave were the ones that popped up in their minds at the time. Adekunle, who received a whopping seven Nominations, was one such unlucky Housemate. So were Amaka and Rachel. Judging from the other reasons why Housemates made their selections of who would be up for possible Eviction, it was clear to see that loyalty was a key factor. Allysyn for example was bold enough to tell Big Brother, "I Nominated Rachel because I have no bond with her".

Given the dynamics that are starting to form in the game so far, do you think the Housemates have picked their sides well?
