The Dano sponsored task was supposed to be a fun-filled challenge, fostering competition and team spirit among the housemates. However, the atmosphere was anything but light-hearted when the housemates returned from the arena. Instead of celebration, the house was filled with murmurs and discontent, revealing that the task had left some housemates feeling more discouraged than inspired.
Don’t be sad
Nelly was visibly upset about her performance in the Dano task, feeling like she had let her team down. Fortunately, Sooj was quick to step up, providing her with a comforting shoulder to lean on. His words of reassurance were exactly what she needed, reminding her that this one setback didn’t define her abilities. "There are going to be more opportunities," he said. "Try not to beat yourself up about it. This one chance shouldn't ruin anything. When those opportunities come, own them, take charge, and show what you’re capable of. Don't be too sad about this." We are sure Nelly will be glad for these words from Sooj her boo.
More frustrations
The frustration wasn't limited to Nelly. Kellyrae was also upset about how the task unfolded, particularly with Ocee’s attitude during the competition. Kellyrae, who was tasked with leading the charade game, struggled as his team members couldn’t guess the correct answers. Ocee's dismissive remarks, coupled with the overall team dynamic, left Kellyrae feeling demotivated. Venting his frustration to Victoria, he remarked, "The people you feel are better, is it every time you worked with them that they won?"
Kassia, who was present during Kellyrae’s rant, remained silent, focused on her food. When Victoria noticed her tense expression and asked if she was alright, Kassia responded with nothing more than silence. Kellyrae, trying to brush off the tension, added, "No wahala, it's fine." However, Victoria made it clear that she was not pleased with their team’s performance. In response, Kellyrae stated, "We don't have to be friends to work well in a team," emphasising that teamwork doesn’t always require camaraderie. Ocee later asked Kellyrae if something was up but Kellyrae said "all is good" declining to comment further on the matter.

The twins’ take
Meanwhile, the twins, Wanni and Handi, joined by Shaun in the bedroom analysed Ocee’s behaviour. They felt his comment, "Which kain act you dey act?" directed at Kellyrae, was a morale killer that could demotivate any team member. They agreed that regardless of the circumstances, words of encouragement should be the priority during a task, reminding each other that no matter the difficulties, they must keep pushing forward.
Despite the tension, it’s clear that this Dano task has left the housemates with valuable lessons on teamwork, morale, and the importance of uplifting one another. As they reflect on the task, they’ll need to find a way to turn these setbacks into motivation for the challenges ahead.
