Guest performances, top-notch fashion and of course, crowning the winner.
Nigerian Idol

This Sunday, we will be witnessing the biggest music reality TV moment of the year as the champion of Nigerian Idol Season 7 will be crowned. As expected, there will be a plethora of amazing performances with a side of tension 😭 as we wait to find out who eventually gets to wear the crown.

So what we are going to do right now is to give you a breakdown of a few things that are going to happen on Sunday night.

The Performances

Now we all know this is one of the main reasons why the show pops every week but the performances this Sunday are going to be off the chains. There are going to be performances from the Top 10, while the Top 2 are going to be giving us an amazing duet of Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman.

The Top 2 will then go on to perform their individual performances for the night which would be a rendition of their songs from the showstopper episode.

Think that’s all? We’re just getting started!

The stage is going to be set on fire by another performance from superstar artiste Pheelz who will be giving a spectacular rendition of his hit single Finesse.

At the beginning of the Season we saw D’banj do a little performance with the Top 12 and wondered if Simi was ever going to do anything at all. Well, it turns out she will finally bless us with some suave vocals on Sunday with a medley of Duduke and Smile.

As if that’s not enough D’banj will be back on stage with another performance featuring the Top 2. What will they sing you ask? Well, you just need to tune in on Sunday to watch.

The Top-notch fashion

It seems so abstract but have you all noticed the amazing outfits decked by the Contestants and Judges back to back? It literally feels like a fashion runway every week the Contestants strut out to perform. Did we say feel like? There is an actual walkway (or runway if you may 😜) that links the lounge to the stage so y’all need to watchout for some style inspo on Sunday.

IK with the bants

Right from the audition stage, we have watched IK Osakioduwa deliver some of the best jokes/bants on Nigerian Idol. No one was safe from IK’s playful banter, not even the Judges. The contestants got a full dose of it even during the Live Shows and we loved every moment of it. For one last night, we will get to see IK do it what he does best and hopefully make memories that will last us till the next Season.

For bragging rights

Not many can tell the story of how their faves became superstars, but you can. Watching the Nigerian Idol Finale is all the bragging right you need to tell the world about the night a young talent became a superstar. You watched it Live and no one can tell the story better than you can. So make sure you tune in to complete the chapter in the life of Nigeria’s next superstar.

The Big Announcement

Finally, we will get to find out who the winner of Season 7 will be. It’s going to be tense, exhilarating and fun all at once. Then the winner will be announced amidst happiness and confetti. Then we may get a little sideshow of the winner collapsing on stage.👀😂

There obviously will be much more action on the Live Show. So tune in to watch on Africa Magic at 19:00 WAT on Sunday.
