Adanna and Nwonye's big day started with bliss as both families gave their blessings and began the festivities with prayers; however, things took a turn when Ojigijaga appeared, confronting Ezeugo for proceeding with the ceremony since he had proclaimed Adanna is a cursed acolyte. He warned them to stop or face the consequences of their actions, and right from that moment, things went left.
Chidalu takes a stand
While she started revolting at Adanna and Nwonye's wedding, standing up to Ejike and threatening to scatter the ceremony if he failed to marry her immediately, Ejike shut her down; however, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!
Chidalu immediately took it upon herself to confront Adanna, hurling insults and calling her a thief for apparently stealing her wedding ceremony. While Adanna tried to fight her off, Akunna and Kamharida came to her rescue and urged Chidalu to stop disrupting; however, she didn't stop. Chidalu instead got into a physical altercation with Akunna, which caught the attention of Ezeugo and triggered him to end his marriage with Akunna and punish his son Ejike.
As Chidalu celebrated the chaos she caused and prepared to take over Adanna's wedding ceremony, she faced her untimely end as Ejike's angered mother stabbed her in the stomach for tearing her marriage and family apart. Adanna was the first person to spot Chidalu's lifeless body. What she didn't know, however, was another shocker was awaiting her as she went to call out for her help: Nnanna had returned to Mgberi! What will this mean for Nwonye?
