Week eight in Biggie’s house was packed with mind-blowing moments, from the first strikes of the season to back-to-back wins, and plenty of drama. Let’s take a look at the moments that made this week one for the books.

Double eviction and the first strikes

The week began with a shocker - the first double solo eviction! Ben and Chizoba were sent packing, marking the first time a ship was evicted this season. But that wasn’t the only surprise Biggie had in store. After countless warnings, Biggie laid down the law by delivering strikes to Handi, Kassia, Shaun, and Wanni for breaking the rules by discussing nominations and conspiring. It was a stern reminder that no one is above Biggie’s rules.

To add a twist, the housemates engaged in unique diary sessions where they played the role of Biggie, sharing their thoughts and feelings. It was during these sessions that Nelly and Wanni revealed mutual distrust for one another.

A hat-trick of wins under Sooj’s leadership

Amid the tension, the housemates achieved something remarkable, with a hat-trick of wager wins! Despite the chaos during their preparation for the Face Your Fears themed wager, they pulled off their third consecutive victory. The emotional short film No Guard Lost, directed by Onyeka, highlighted their struggles, from suicide to sexual abuse, leaving viewers deeply moved. Coupled with their stunning red carpet show, it was clear why they triumphed under Sooj’s reign as HoH.

Ship drama and reconciliation

What’s a week in Biggie’s house without ship drama? The ships were sailing rough waters as Nelly and Sooj had multiple disagreements, primarily fueled by Nelly’s irritation after seeing Sooj chat with Victoria at the Thursday night pool party. Meanwhile, Anita and Topher had their tiff when Topher’s offhand comment, "make everybody come here with brain," was taken personally by Anita, leaving Topher scrambling to fix things.

Sooj’s time as HoH wasn’t without hiccups either. Tensions flared when Shaun refused to attend a diary session until he’d showered. This tension was further stoked by Wanni, who accused Sooj of being distant and assigning Shaun kitchen duty, despite knowing how much Shaun disliked it. In a heartwarming twist, besties Onyeka and Ozee finally reconciled after their fallout over Ozee not checking in following her spat with Victoria.

Food woes and ninja shenanigans

Food drama continued to plague the house as housemates complained about missing meals. Nelly’s yam pottage disappeared after the Thursday pool party, while Handi brought up the issue of Kassia mentioning that Wanni always gives Shaun extra meat. Kellyrae wasn’t spared either, as rumours swirled that he was serving Kassia generous portions of meat whenever he cooked.

Biggie’s ninjas added to the chaos by raiding the house and taking both cooked food and meals still being prepared on the stove. Later in the week, they returned with cans of whipped cream, spraying the housemates in a hilarious twist.

Punishments and surprises

For failing to follow Biggie’s instructions, several housemates - Handi, Kassia, Onyeka, Tjay, Victoria, and Wanni were punished with a grueling two-hour stint standing inside hula hoops. And just when they thought the week couldn’t get crazier, they woke up to a trashed garden, a stark reminder that Biggie always has a surprise up his sleeve.

From strikes and evictions to a stunning hat-trick of wins, week eight in Biggie’s house was nothing short of explosive. It’s another live eviction show tonight, and the nominated housemates are holding their breath in anticipation. Whose journey in the No Loose Guard house will end this evening?
