Day 41 – 6 Sept: Like play, like drama? Housemates win big but tensions run high! – BBNaija

Victory on stage, but silence and strained relationships behind the scenes.
housemates on stage after winning wager

The "Like Play, Like Play" weekly wager energy ended on a high note as the housemates nailed their weekly wager, delivering a show that had Biggie and the viewers in awe.

The housemates displayed an incredible blend of creativity, talent and teamwork, making the wager win well-deserved. Even Ebuka approved!

At the heart of this success were the likes of Tjay, who took on the role of narrator with such flair that Biggie couldn’t help but shower him with compliments. Tjay wasn’t the only star of the show – the triple Os, Ocee, Onyeka and Ozee, spent sleepless nights rehearsing and their hard work paid off in an unforgettable performance.

The play revolved around a classic battle of good versus evil, with Onyeka portraying the all-powerful God Mother, Ocee as the menacing villain and Ozee stepping into the shoes of the brave superhero. Onyeka wore many hats as the scriptwriter, director, actress and lead singer. She led the charge, proving that she’s as versatile as they come.

While the victory was sweet, not everyone was in a celebratory mood. Chizoba’s reaction to her sister Onyeka’s win was rather muted, a reflection of the simmering tension in their relationship. That was the general energy of the house after the win, with Onyeka noting that “not everyone is rejoicing”. It’s clear that the drama in the house extends beyond the stage.

Watch Chizoba and Onyeka's wahala:

Nelly and Sooj’s silent treatment

Speaking of drama, Anita couldn’t help but notice Nelly’s icy demeanour towards Sooj. During a chat, Anita suggested that Nelly should talk things out with Sooj, but Nelly was having none of it. “Maybe when we leave,” she shrugged, hinting that the situation might be beyond repair.

The tension between Nelly and Sooj has been palpable, especially after Sooj’s recent behaviour. Nelly pointed out how Sooj had been acting distant, even going as far as taking care of his own food and sheets while completely ignoring her. “He should keep the same energy,” Nelly said, clearly frustrated with the one-sided effort in their relationship.

Before the wager presentation, Sooj made an attempt to reconcile, but Nelly wasn’t ready to let him back in. The silent treatment continued, with neither of them breaking the ice, even when they found themselves alone in the locker area.

Adding another layer to the tension, yesterday, Nelly woke up from a disturbing dream where she saw her brother and mother in tears. When she asked her mother why, the answer was cryptic but clear: “You need to concentrate”. Could this be a sign that Nelly’s cold shoulder is her way of staying focused and not letting her guard down?

Watch the latest Nelly and Sooj drama:

Ben and Tjay’s boozy bust-up

A little alcohol drama spiced things up when Ben grabbed Tjay’s drink without asking – a move that’s usually cool between them, but today, Tjay wasn’t having it. He wanted the option to share his booze with someone else for a change. When Tjay called him out, Ben simply walked away clearly not in the mood for a lecture over liquor, leaving a bit of tension hanging in the air.

As the housemates bask in the glow of their wager win, it’s clear that some relationships are fraying at the edges. With emotions running high and alliances shifting, the coming days promise even more twists and turns in the house.

Stay tuned Naija because "Like Play, Like Play," things are about to get even more interesting!
