Stars align for a showstopping showdown as the Top 6 Nigerian Idol hopefuls return for another spectacular Live Show! With four phenomenal weeks under their belts, these talented singers are primed to deliver showstopping performances that will leave you breathless. This week, the theme is 'Showstopper' and the contestants are going all the way out  to leave a lasting impression. With a group rendition of John Legend's 'Preach' to top it all off, it's sure to be a memorable night.

Chima: 'Don't start now' by Dua Lipa

Chima will set the stage on fire with Dua Lipa's global smash hit 'Don't Start Now.' The nu-disco song released in 2019 from her second studio album, Future Nostalgia, dominated charts worldwide, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated in three categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.

Chioma: 'Run the world' by Beyoncé 

Chioma is bringing girl power to the stage with Beyonce's anthemic 'Run the World (Girls).' This empowering track released in 2011 as the lead single from her fourth studio album, 4, peaked at number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States with critics stating that the song takes a more direct and assertive approach towards female empowerment.

Lammy: 'I Gotta Feeling' by Black Eyed Peas

Getting the party started on Sunday is Lammy with Black Eyed Peas' infectious 'I Gotta Feeling.' This high-energy dance track released in 2009 from their fifth studio album The E.N.D spent 14 consecutive weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, making it the longest-running number-one single of 2009. 'I Gotta Feeling' was nominated for Record of the Year at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards (2010) and won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

Maio: 'Unavailable' by Davido

Maio will bring the Afrobeats flavour with Davido's 'Unavailable.'Released in 2023 as the second single from his fourth studio album, Timeless, the song featuring South African singer Musa Keys became a massive hit in Nigeria and across Africa. It was certified gold in both Canada and France.

Mira Clear: 'End of time' by Beyoncé 

Mira Clear goes for the ultimate showstopper with Beyonce's uptempo song 'End of Time.'  The song released in 2011 from her fourth studio album, 4, peaked at number 13 on the US Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.

Stevie: 'Closer' by Ne-yo

Stevie brings the smooth sounds with Ne-Yo's soulful 'Closer.' It was released in 2008 as the lead single from Ne-Yo's third studio album, Year of the Gentleman. 'Closer' peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming his seventh top ten hit on the chart. The song was also nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 51st Grammy Awards.
