The latest punishment from Big Brother hit hard, and it couldn’t have come at a worse time for Handi, Kassia, Onyeka, Tjay, Victoria and Wanni. As a consequence for failing to follow Big Brother's instructions to they were given a unique punishment.
Big Brother placed hula hoops around the house and instructed the housemates to stand inside them whenever they heard the buzzer. They are not allowed to move from their designated hoop unless going to the bathroom, and must remain completely still until the next buzzer sounds. This punishment serves as a stern reminder of Big Brother’s rules and his no-nonsense approach to disobedience.
After an exhausting Airtel task, Handi, Onyeka and Wanni had barely started cooking when the dreaded buzzer sounded. They were all starving, but as soon as they heard that unmistakable sound, they bolted to their hula hoops, leaving their pots bubbling on the stove.
Wanni, standing inside her hula hoop, had just one pressing question: “Can we eat?” Sooj, as Head of House, bravely asked on behalf of the group. Biggie’s reply, however, was ice cold: “You may only move when you go to the bathroom and back.” No exceptions.
That didn’t stop Onyeka from making the best of the situation. Ocee, who took over in the kitchen, generously plated a meal and delivered it straight to Onyeka. With a cheeky grin, Onyeka enjoyed her food, standing still in her hula hoop, much to the envy of the others, with Wanni following. They stood in those hula hoops from 10:13 pm to 12:15 am WAT.
This latest punishment comes as Big Brother is cracking down on the housemates for their repeated rule-breaking, and it seems no one is safe from his wrath. After weeks of warnings and blatant disregard for the rules, Biggie’s zero-tolerance policy is in full swing.
This past Sunday, Biggie had gathered the housemates together, calling out four culprits, Handi, Kassia, Shaun, and Wanni, who had earned themselves strikes for discussing nominations and conspiracy. But the hula hoop punishment was an unexpected blow that left the housemates visibly surprised.

The punishment didn’t stop at standing in hula hoops either. Big Brother made it clear that, with this week’s theme being "Face Your Fears," the housemates would be facing more challenges and strict consequences for any future rule-breaking. And with their stomachs growling and frustration building, it seems Biggie is pushing them to their limits.
But will this hula hoop punishment finally make the housemates toe the line, or will they continue testing Big Brother’s patience? Time will tell.
